Our M.B.A. after school program is designed to make players better on the court and in the classroom. With assistance from volunteer students from Lewis University, we will assist students with their homework assignments and help improve their reading comprehension skills through our comic book club. The students will meet in the center for an hour. The hour inside the center will consist of the following segments:
Students will get 15 minutes to socialize and consume a snack.
Students will get 30 minutes for homework and reading!
Students will get 15 minutes for group discussions.
After we spend time in the learning center, we’ll head to the gym for two hours of basketball practice to work on passing, dribbling, rebounding, and shooting drills. Along with team offensive and defensive drills and concepts.
